Welcome to the Kansas Deaf-Blind Library's online catalog!
The Kansas Deaf-Blind Library is a collection of materials - books, videos, kits, tapes, etc. - that may be of interest to parents, teachers & others who work with individuals who are deaf-blind. The library is a cooperative venture of the Kansas State Department of Education, Student Support Services; The Kansas Project for Children and Young Adults who are Deaf-Blind; and, the Kansas State School for the Blind -- Kansas Instructional Resource Center. Generous donations to the library's resources have been made by the Hansen Foundation and Dr. P. Douglas Guess, University of Kansas. Additionally, materials produced or purchased through various deaf-blind projects and grants from the State of Kansas are housed in the library. Anyone, in-state or out-of-state, may use this library free of charge.

When making requests by email or phone, please include the following information: name, shipping address, phone number, your status (Parent; Professional; Paraprofessional; VIISA Trainer), the Item Number and Title for each material you would like to borrow
Print copies of the library's catalog are also available by sending a request via the above methods. When requesting a catalog, please include your name and mailing address.
Materials are loaned free of charge. The lending period is three weeks, unless special arrangements have been made. The patron is responsible for returning materials to the Kansas Deaf-Blind Library, 1100 State Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66102-4486 by the due date either in-person or via U.S. Mail at the "library rate".
